Join fellow Yalies for dinner and wine as Cynthia Wachtell (BR ’89) leads a discussion about American war poetry writing past and present.   Monday, June 25, 6:30 to 8:30.  Space is very limited so buy your tickets now:

We’ll chat at a beautiful rooftop deck of a UWS luxury highrise overlooking the Hudson River. Rain or shine, as the rooftop has an indoor penthouse space.  The exact location on W. 91 Street will be sent to attendees.

Cynthia Wachtell is a contributor to the Huffington Post, author of the highly acclaimed book War No More: The Antiwar Impulse in American Literature, 1861-1914, and a research associate professor of American Studies and founding director of the S. Daniel Abraham Honors Program at Yeshiva University.  She earned a joint BA/MA, summa cum laude, in American Studies from Yale and an AM and PhD in the the History of American Civilization from Harvard.
