Our Mission

Our mission is to help Yalies connect with each other and to foster civic-minded initiatives.

We serve a community of over 17,000 Yale alumni in the New York metro area and Long Island, the largest base of Yale alumni in the world.

We are registered with the Association of Yale Alumni (AYA), the official alumni association for Yale University as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.  In the past year, we organized, hosted or co-hosted more than 90 events for Yale alumni, many at low or no fees last year, organized six standing committees, and brought together a board of about a dozen alumni leaders on a monthly basis.  We require no dues and consider all area alumni to be members of the organization and our alumni community.

You can read more about our committees and upcoming projects on our Volunteer Page.  To see event listings, click here.
